YESTERDAY, IRISH TWITTER user James Kelleher asked his followers for examples of times they were on the receiving end of a random act of kindness.

And the responses are lovely.

Like this story of a man giving up his Aircoach seat to a woman who needed to get to Dublin Airport.

Or this story of a kindly stranger who helped book a stranger into a Japanese hotel.. and paid for the whole thing.

This heartwarming tale of a homeless man who gave 10c to a guy who was just short in Supermacs.

Or this story of a man asking for change at the Luas stop… and turning around to help a fellow passenger with his fare.
